About Us
Every Kid Counts (EKC) is a non-profit 501 (C) public charity, allowing youth’s to participate in programs giving them a great opportunity to learn, be involved and find solutions to the challenges they are facing in today’s society.
EKC was founded on March 24, 1994 in a group effort from: Robert Perelka, Gordon & Kay Le Blanc, Jr., Michael Gibson, Sherdick Bonner and Calvin Schexnayder. Along with the founders the Every Kid Counts was made possible by the dedication from many individual business and community leaders, through their ideas and support of children’s charity programs.
